Sunset Beach, located about halfway between historic Wilmington, NC, and lively Myrtle Beach,
SC, is the southern-most of the five Brunswick County barrier islands. Its municipal boundaries
extend from the Atlantic Ocean across the Intracoastal Waterway and extend several miles
inland.
Fishermen will find 22 species of fish in the surf and even more in the fertile waters in and around the Intracoastal Waterway. Six area piers will take you farther into the surf, while head boats and charter boats are available for deep sea fishing. Golfers initially suffer "overkill-shock." Brunswick County alone has no fewer than 21 championship courses. Seventy-one more fine courses are inside a 40-mile drive. But there is more to life than shooting par, landing eight pound flounder, and strolling wide beaches. It's having all that within easy reach of restaurants, shopping, entertainment, airports, cultural and educational opportunities - in short, everything you'd expect to find in a sophisticat- ed cosmopolitan area. Both the gracious seaport city of Wilmington and the resort city of Myrtle Beach are an easy drive. Housing options for both permanent resident and second/vacation home purchases are diverse:
In the spirit of the relaxed lifestyle existing in the South Brunswick Islands, we invite you to contact Sea Trail Real Estate to informally discuss this remarkable coastal area. We know the local real estate market and how it differs from more traditional urban markets. We are here to help any way we can! |
